Advice

I’m being inundated with “advice”. It’s coming in all forms: emails, drop downs, alerts...online, on tv and radio, and by word of mouth from a safe distance.

I admit. I cannot process all of this advice. I’m even having trouble sorting out what I may want to follow up on at a later time.

Smothered by advice in the time of pandemic.

It seems that people feel in these times of "stay at home" that more information thrown at you is what is needed. But I feel it is not. At least you can always turn it off or "delete" if it does not pertain to you.

It all adds to the stress levels. My emails have quadrupled and it has become a real fear that something critical may be overlooked. It is not possible to spend the time needed to ensure that doesn't happen---trying to add codes to email program to flag specific people client and groups but even that isn't working. It seems everything is on overload---Definitely need to find time to breathe.

Someone once said...”.The Essence of genius is to know what NOT to read” Now more than ever, my friend. Information overload is one of the great toxins
of our time. Marilyn is right...whenever you are tempted...BREATHE. This is the most direct path to
who you really are.
