When it's over:

People will rush out into the streets with joy and embrace each other! Yes

We will have new appreciations of life and humanity!

Many many more will continue to work from home!

We will have heightened appreciation of public servants, especially those in healthcare!

Leadership will have greater importance!

The handshake will become an historical anomaly!

We will understand that love, good friends and Family saw us through!

Shelter in place babies will come into the World!

The sun will come up!

I hope the world will be a kinder and more compassionate place. That our values will have changed to focus on what is important. That it’s not how much you have or how hard you work - but the love that we have to share
Fred Klein

I am hopeful that will be the case! Wake up call...

The family’s home and hearth has, and will once again, become the center of life.

I love your dream and hope it is true. Unfortunately, the return to “normalcy” will probably not be sudden. It will be slow and deliberate and your dream will keep us moving to the new normal.

More and better basic hygiene than before.

I agree with sbloom, we need better basic hygiene. For example, when you enter a building or meeting (such as Gotham Meetings), wash your hands. You may have been on the subway, or in your car, or touched the door handle of the building entrance, or the elevator buttons.

We never appreciated how much we had...

There will be change for sure. Just not sure if all will be for the better. The handshake will be an interesting thing to see if it returns or not. I do think more will work from home or if going to the office, fewer in person appointments to the outside world as virtual meetings will take place instead (hopefully not all the time).

I hope the world will be kinder and gentler. But i think there will be changes. For example, shaking hands will become antiquated. Perhaps the Vulcan greeting will be the new normal. Live long and prosper my friend.

We bloggers have a great opportunity to inspire and for that I am grateful!

The only constant is change . Old habits and traditions are hard to leave behind . I thought that I never would come back from 911. I was 2 blocks from the Pentagon . I woke to the sound of a Boeing ramming into the side of the building on that clear Wednesday morning in 1991. Traumatic as it was . It wasn’t that long before life turned somewhat back to normal . Our species has a short memory and life has a way of returning again . Back to a healthy outlook in spite of itself . We pick up a few changes to our lifestyle with each crisis we face . But just a few . Very soon it becomes second nature and once again , it’s “ Batter Up !” What gets learned ? Life is fragile . As we age the window of opportunity shrinks . Keep that in mind moving forward Derf .

We will certainly have a new normal and I hope and pray it looks like yours.
