Cold pizza

Categories
Lifestyle

In my college days, cold pizza in the morning was one of the staples of my diet. Leftover pizza was unceremoneously stuffed into the frig, box and all. I would grab a slice on the way out to my first class and I was good to go.

Apparently this has been somewhat commercialized. Tino's in Oneonta, New York, about 175 miles northwest of Manhattan, claims it's the original home of a curiously popular cold cheese pizza slice, which was created in 1985 and remains a top seller, particularly with area college students who use it to soak up the booze after late nights partying.

I'm not surprised that Tino's has quite a loyal following.

Never like it cold.

My daughter went to Onenota and loved Tito's. For me, it was cold Chinese food the morning after. Maybe that's a new trend.

For me it was anything someone had left over. But cod pizza was always a highlight. Today salt restrictions make it a treat!

Some...Like "it" HOT. Hot enough to burn the top of your gumbs until the skin hangs down so you can flick it with your tongue.
