A Stout Crime

A Stout Crime
Lack of Guiness

Unbelievable news coming out of the UK. British police are searching for two truckloads of stolen Guinness, about 70,000 pints worth, which disappeared from a depot near Liverpool. The beer and trailers were valued at more than $220,000, making this one very expensive round.

The Guinness was headed to local pubs when two drivers reportedly hauled away roughly 800 barrels. Police say they will settle for nothing less than recovering it all, while pubgoers everywhere are presumably raising a glass and hoping the investigation doesn’t go flat :)

Somewhere out there, in a field in the UK, someone has enough Guinness to host the world’s largest happy hour. Let’s hope the police find the stout before the thieves find 70,000 friends.
