John Dugan has been practicing physical therapy for 43 years. He holds a
Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Fairfield University, and a Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and
Surgeons.
He was on staff at NYU Rusk Institute for 3 years, where he did four rotations through adult and pediatric Rehabilitation , Acute care and Chest Service.
Following this, he did Home Care in Manhattan ,Western Queens, and Long Island before opening his private practice in 1983 in Farmingdale where is still practices today. He also opened a satellite second office in Massapequa in 2014, "Massapequa Physical Therapy"

He is Board Certified in Orthopedic, Neurologic and Geriatric Physical Therapy.
He is also a Credentialed Advanced Hip Clinician by the Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation Network
John has been a member and an Advisory Board Member of HSS Rehabilitation Network since its inception in 1994
He is an Advisory Board Member for Orthonet ,an Orthopedic Benefits Management Company
He has served as a Co Chair of the Alliance of Physical Therapists, a SIG of the NY APTA
