A Favorite
We are all creatures of habit. I am about to divulge a fact about myself that few people know. When I am alone in the car I sing – loudly. And, I am partial to one particular song – Born in the USA.
To be honest, I’m not sure why this song calls me when I am driving. Maybe it brings me back to high school when my group of friends would sing this same song in chorus wherever we went. Maybe it is because one of my first concerts ever was Bruce Springsteen. Or maybe I just really like the song.
What is your favorite song to play in the car?

Question to Nancy, how loud does the volume go when you pay BITUSA? That song was devised to play LOUD!!!!. Do you crank up the stereo? I just use to blow folks away play the cassette on my blauhpunct back in the say.
I have a preference for longer songs while driving. Examples include:
24 Hours At A Time (Marshall Tucker Band) http://tiny.cc/58knvx
Ride The Country (Poco live) http://tiny.cc/4clnvx (note to Fred your Keysmate wrote it, sings lead and plays some smoking guitar riffs)
Mystic Highway (John Fogerty) http://tiny.cc/hilnvx
We Were The Dreamers (new song by the Richie Furay Band) http://tiny.cc/brlnvx
(someone might induce me to post more)

1) My son Jeff composed, recorded and signs/plays a beautiful song he created just for me for my 50th B'day. It's so touching in terms of the words; he layered several instruments all played by him including guitar, keyboards, flutes. If you're ever in my car it's CD # 1 so I'll proudly play it for you! 2) I have the entire sound track to the EPCOT Illuminations of Earth Fireworks. It starts with great drumming and fireworks. It culminates with harmonies that my talented daughters nail every time they sing along. Just love how music lifts the spirit. Sign LOUD & Proud Nancy :)
