Pot Hole Bingo

The following is from last year and it warrants repetition:

If you drive you play it

Salt and plows make it

Tires and suspensions hate it

How many more weeks to evade it?

I'm watching the snow plows across from my office getting ready for the snow later today. Happy happy spring!! Ugh!!

The street I live on looks like it has been bombed. And we're getting more of the white stuff this afternoon. Just what we need!

Impossible infrastructure. There is also the domino effect of trying to avoid one at the last second and swerving into another car, a bike, a person or WORSE yet an animal. There is no win. Public transportation strips you of your ability to control your environment and route. Driving your own vehicle puts you at risk not only for pot holes but much more. The grand plan was never meant to be like this. That's why I live in the woods . Walden Pond . Henry David Thoreau. Stay away. Animals only please.

I'm trying to come home from Colorado today... Vail was in the 50s and 60s during my stay and NY is getting snow again! This is certainly a crazy year... And there are still non-believers in global warming! on my way to LaGuardia my car service had to sweve to avoid these nasty surprises several times. If snow is covering the road again, I shutter to think what my ride home will be! Hidden potholes will be a disaster! Yuk!!!

Government can and should do better. I never wrote on potholes. Maybe next book.

Warrants not warrents. Thanks Corey!

The Northern State Parkway is surely pot hole bingo! When driving at night it is especially dangerous since they are harder to see. I have chosen different routes!

I hope the asphalt companies spend their money locally and my "tires and suspension" a/k/a known as ankles and knees don't appreciate them either.
