Something broken and something fixed

I am computer impaired. Some time ago a glass of water spilled on my Apple laptop. It won't allow me to type upper case and ever time you hit a key you get two letters. Our very old Toshiba laptop just gave up two weeks ago. Something like computer heart failure. And three days ago my office computer made a loud pop, then sizzled and smelled like smoke as the screen went dark. I was afraid after that to even touch it. At least we have an iPad. When technology fails, you suddenly feel disconnected. On an unrelated matter I am tired of my cell phone falling between my car seat and console. It is hard to get it out. So I have invented a trampoline type mesh to put there. Every time the phone falls into that narrow slot, it bounces back into my lap. Brilliant.

My husband's phone and was constantly falling between the car seat and console, so I bought him a Drop Stop. It works fine; but his phone doesn't bounce back into his lap.

What happens when your phone drops a call?

I have that same issue with my phone in the car. I think you need to go on Shark tank with that invention.

Already was on shark tank!

very simple solution for the phone: connect it to the charger and the wire assists if needed. You might try an external keyboard for the Mac to see if the problem is technical or software.

It was on shark tank and my son bought one for himself and one for his brother. very thoughtful.
If you every need to know anything techy you can borrow my Emily, she is 12 and has never lived without technology...she is the go to girl in our house.
If you can deal with the eye rolling...take her...please :)

I, too, have a daughter like that. She's 15 and her older siblings swear by her tech prowess. Her math skills are also pretty good. Those genes did not come from my heredity...

I am skeptical of your phone trampoline story, not to mention it sounds dangerous...especially if you have the 6+

Could lead to a whole new category of phone related-accidents.
