Modern Day Mayberry?

I remember growing up as a kid hearing everyone speak about the television set as if it was extended from the depths of hell from Satan himself.  It was destroying people's minds, it would be the end of family time, it was rotting out our BRAINS!

Of course it didn't and of course we are saying the same things now about computers and the internet.  Some find them the root of all evil, while I think them more akin to the Tree Of Knowledge that could bring the uncivilized parts of the world into enlightenment (with the accepted baggage of course).  Either way, the potential heights and depths are limitless.

Last Friday, our family and my sister-law's family all hung out in our living room (about 8 of us) with the hockey game on TV, having a few drinks and all playing Trivia Crack against each other.  A mish-mosh of games between each other, overridden by different allegiances helping each other out, balancing our desire to win with our generosity and sportsmanship.  It was fun, wholesome and remarkably engaging for the family members of all different ages.  It wasn't planned out, rather it just kind of fell together like that, the way most good times do.

OMG!! You took my blog topic. LOL

I, who vowed that I would never become addicted to an online game have become addicted to Trivia Crack. I love it.

Sorry, it was a rough night so I dared not write about anything serious. Mailed this one in a bit.

Just want to point out issues involve people not what they do and only when the device involves possibly deadly consequences (guns, certain knives, etc).
Burton Fendelman

I saw the movie and did not know the ending. I was so much into the movie that I was actually devastated. The treatment of the ending was so powerful that it made the movie an even greater work of art by a great director, Clint Eastwood. I can not add anymore than what Erik wrote - Erik you did a masterful job of reviewing.
