No matter what

I’m all in when it comes to smoking ducks and frying turkeys—it’s my thing. But I have to tell you it wasn’t easy this year. The weather was cold and wet. Keeping the smoker at the right temp was a battle, and the fryer took forever to heat up.

But for me, no challenge is too big when it comes to the feast. I stuck it out, got everything cooked, and the food? Totally worth it. Thanksgiving mission accomplished!

Someone tried this on Thursday in the garage of their mansion in Connecticut. The mansion was fully engulfed in flames.
No news yet on whether the Turkey was salvaged. #ProblemsOfTheRichAndStupid

I wanted to smoke this year. My husband was concerned because of the weather. So I gave into the oven. Regret not smoking. . .

I smoked a turkey for the first time this year. Fortunately the rain stopped by the time we started smoking and we had some coverage from a patio umbrella. Very delicious way to try turkey!
