Its a helpful tool. Just don't rely on it for everything.

I agree with Dan. It's a tool but very dangerous to rely on. I have seen too many lawyers get in trouble for relying on it.

I'm finding it very helpful at times especially when I know the concepts but need a simple way to find the particulars of how to do something. I'm also using it for some advanced excel formulas or those that I only use once in a while and would have to go back and figure out. Now, I tell AI what I am trying to calculate and it spits out the formula and saves time.

I have been using Gemini (Google's AI) since it rolled out in 2023. I've use it to proofread and it has become a thesaurus for my writing; a means to check grammar. Now, as others have eluded to, it is not with out it's faults. I've noticed word choices, sentence structures, and punctuation being incorrect that does not flow well. Outside of writing, I have used it as a Google search engine. Most times it is quicker than "Googling" because it condenses and summarizes the findings. However, I also have found errors in the response such as when a movie was released and who starred in it. Also, it has had trouble adjusting to my time zone when asking for real time data about weather, etc. It is a great tool and can make my life easier. I think the phase of gimmicky images is behind us or it will be a fun game for kids. In construction management, I believe AI will be the perfect tool to better determine costs on a project as well as identify risks that can occur; in which there are always too many to account for.

I've been using ChatGpt and similar programs for marker research and writing marketing copy. Of course, I then rewrite it in my style but it saves me huge amounts of time. It's a helpful tool and the human has to always be incharge.in charge.
