Cynical?

Categories
Politics

Ever since the "Third rate" Watergate burglary, I have reserved judgement and operate on a "Nothing is as it appears" (or as they tell us) basis.

Does that make me a cynic?  You tell me.

My mind set is that "Up is Down and Down is Up" and what was once bad is now often good (and the reverse).

Am I prone to believing conspiracy theories?  I know, I'm willing to entertain and discuss them...

Who knows?

Forget it Fred,  it's Chinatown!

I don't know what to think these days. But we are all a bit cynical in my opinion.

I, on the other hand, tend to be gullible;-)

When I hear something I agree with, I verify and when I hear something that I don’t agree with I verify. Usually the “answer” is somewhere in the middle.
Rich Slomovitz

Need to be more than a little cynical these days. Trust, but verify and when it comes to "studies" released, follow the money to see who funded them and in who's interest the result is in.
Tessa Marquis

I don't believe in "Sin".
Ohhhh...wait...You mean something else.
Cynics are a hardened group of humanity. It is easier to be nice and wait to see what happens next.
Ray Walcott

A degree of healthy skepticism is wise, but it's also important to avoid falling into the trap of reflexive cynicism.
Kelly Welles

It's wise to be skeptical within reason. It's the fulcrum of our Republic. It's the safety net of our well-being and very survival.

Interesting undertones to this blog. . . . If I am reading it correctly.
