A Good Book for the Summer

Friends, I am ready for some recommendations.

Just around this time, as the weather turns warm and the breeze at the beach turns cool, I turn towards my selection of books.  Truth be told, I have fallen behind in reading but my picture of a perfect summer day includes a beach, a good book (on my kindle or otherwise) and a glass of wine.

Add a cool breeze, and I am in heaven.

What is on your reading list this summer?

Look forward to seeing you at the beach!

Not a book reader, so can't help but I can visualize the setting. For me, I would likely be reading on line reviews or articles of items of interest or current events.

Am reading an interesting book called "Breathe" by Rickson Gracie. On a deep note, it explores the power of controlling your breathing whilst also chronicles the crazy backstory of the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gracie family and how they built a mini army of fighters!

The Little Liar by Mitch Albom. It's a novel based on a true historical event, the desecration of a Greek town during the Holocaust. I couldn't put it down. The prose is very easy to read. On the same exact lines, Looking for Jane by Heather Marshall. A fictionalized version of a real underground abortion movement. Both books were easy to read, despite the content. And I came away from both glad that I had read them.

I think I even bought this book but haven't read it yet. Thanks for putting it back on my radar.
