When Worlds "Collide"

My life orbits around 4 different, significant, entities: www.gothamnetworking.comwww.people4peace.net, the mentor project.org and tarterkrinsky.com.

For background, please click on each link.

Two nights ago, there was a confluence, as all four entities "collided" at Citi Field in Queens when the Yankees played the Mets at Gotham's annual "Take me out to the ball game", as curated by Gotham's Triple Crown wearing Corey Bearak (pictured), who happens to be involved in three of my four Worlds through the Magic of Delegation :)

I'm happy to report that the "collision" resulted in a very soft and positive landing, as representatives of each entity fruitfully cross pollenated with willing members of another.  Let's just say we were buzzing in the intimate, fecund, hothouse, upper deck Citi Field seating venue.

It was so charged, interactive and fruitful that one hardly had time to turn to the field and watch the game.  Hard to believe?

And then it happened!  I suppose we just reached critical mass which caused a colossal deluge which flooded the field and caused some to seek shelter.  Not us though, as we were protected by Corey's overhang and we hardly missed a beat...

Everyone who is anyone was there (maybe except you) and space does not allow for me to name names.  Let's just say, it was the personification of the "Can't Miss" happening.

That's it.  It was just--Happening!

Needless to say, but I'm saying it nonetheless, it was truly great and, cherry on top, my latter day Idol Aaron Judge hit his League leading 30th Home-run.

PS: What's more, 4 members of my North of 25A Book Group bore witness too!

Wish I could have been there to witness the Mets take the win (both games of the series). Judge did his damage both nights, the only spark for that Team. But what a series for the Mets that have turned there season around.

Great seats and it was great seeing everyone at the game.

Was great seeing some Gothamites at our pregame tailgate, and our group of 130 will also never forget this particular game (sweep) and weather impacted evening.

Another fabulous Gotham event and subway series! Hail to Corey as we didn't have a drop of water from the Citifield monsoon touch us!

Was a great night for Gotham and the other groups as well. The night was saved by Corey's great covered seats. And, thanks to Corey for putting CIti 2024 "in the books"

It sounds like a Fred Klein/Corey Bearak/Gotham Night ~ what could be better? (with all due respect to everyone else, but I know Fred and from what I speak - besides, look at how happy you and Corey are in that photo!)
