Delegation

Delegation (or delegating) is the process of distributing and entrusting work to another person.

To me, the process of delegating is a powerful offshoot and manifestation of networking. Thus, if one has a potent network, as we do in
www.gothamnetwoking.com, we are in a position to accomplish the task at hand in the quickest and most effective manner with the help of our members (you know who you are).

We are fortunate to have each other, with our varied skill sets, talents, experience and willingness to help.

I write this to thank you all for what we have accomplished and look forward to more in the future.

One of my biggest faults! The problem is when you delegate,, you have to live with the results. I find that hard and tend to do too many things on my own. I admire people who can delegate and cultivate.

I found in 48 years of working for you and your firm, that you are an excellent Delegator, often leaving it to me to take twists and turns to get the job done if I found it necessary.

If you wanna make a big mark, you need qualified people on your team. The more you delegate the more you can accomplish. Fred is the Nobel laureate of delegation.

Kudos Fred! The essence of an effective leader is found in the art of delegating. The power of delegating was recently driven home when I was invited to recommend mentors to female immigrants each of whom had launched a new business and were seeking business guidance.. I was struck by how disadvantaged they were not to have ANY networks, some only in an American as recently as three years. Imagine!
