A word that will never have the same meaning for me after last Monday.
The mysteries and splendor of the universe witnessed, perhaps comprehended, for a few moments on earth.
Totality.

I see why people track eclipses and travel to paths of totality. Friends gathered in a clear spot and got a great view. Still an afternoon to remember, even if not totality.
