Blessed to be Stressed

As I sit in a hotel room in Woodlawn, MD tonight, preparing for what might be the most consequential meeting of my career, I ponder the meaning of my work.

Am I stressed? You bet I am!

Do I work too many hours? Absolutely!

Do I have work life balance? Arguably, many would say a resounding NO!

HOWEVER, knowing that as I meet tomorrow with the Commissioner of Social Security to make a plea that will affect all my above concerns, as well as allowing me and so many other Social Security Disability practitioners to continue addressing the needs of millions of Americans, I realize I am living a dream.

Yes, it costs me in personal hours, but the satisfaction of winning benefits for a deserving American far outweighs the personal toll.

I am blessed to be stressed!

Wishing you the best of luck today Crysti! Perhaps a victory and champagne toast will relieve that stress!

Sometimes stress is good. Balance is the key, something I struggle with. Good luck today!

Go get 'em Crysti! Good luck - look forward to hearing good news on the outcome.

Nothing great is ever achieved without it. Breathe and express gratitude for your success. Given your higher calling, I expect the Universe will line up behind you.
