Vikings is my must watch at the moment.

We began re-watching Game of Thrones a few weeks ago in anticipation for the final season. I've noticed a lot of things I missed the first time around.

I just finished binge watching the first year of Days Of Our Lives. Only 53 more years to go

I truly enjoyed watching The Crown on Netflix and was so sorry it ended and I have to wait a while for more. In light of Prince Philip's recent car accident, his personality and attitude as depicted in the show, certainly showed in reality as consistent.

I loved and still enjoy Seinfeld, although the later years got a bit weaker (as did Mash in my opinion). Watching reruns of Friends really hits home how great writing, great cast and characters is hard to replicate today. I find writing today is generally weak, likely due to the sugar sweet, pc, scared society we live in today (Imagine All in the Family trying to get past the networks today?). I do enjoy New Amsterdam as one of the few bright spots this season.

Fred, don't forget Buffalo Bob.

Over the years, loved 6 Feet Under, Man in the High Castle is terrific and Mrs. Maisel is truly, fantastically unique. We also love Vikings, first season of True Detectives (jury still out although this season is better than Season 2 by far - each season is separate) Loved Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Have to say agree with Dan about Friends and also the PC fears stifling truly profound writing these days. Watching Handmaids Tale and finding it slow and preachy (although I loved the book when I read it in the 80s). Also loved Jack Ryan! We watched Dr Who with Dana in Middle School (nothing like campy BBC sci-fi) and Gilmore Girls. I love Criminal Minds and Grey’s Anatomy LA Law and early Ally McBeal.
But with all of that said, Game of Thrones is by far some of the very best drama we’ve ever seen. Our whole family is addicted and we’ve watched it over and over. I teach leadership and emotional intelligence, negotiation strategies and personal growth from it to my business classes. And when Paul and I got married, we had GoT cake toppers..... lol. Ok. Geeks, yes....(and I’ve walked miles on the treadmill and knitted lots of socks watching all that tv!)

"Good Television" has the same effect on me, Rona. The Crown, House of Cards, The Fall, Blacklist, The Sinner....my list is plentiful. Near the end of each series, my heart sunk with sadness. My new "friends" would be out of my life forever. At least I have the memories.
