Traffic recorded a song, Sometimes I Feel So Uninspired, that applies to so much when one looks around these days for leadership in the usual places.

Yet the courageous response of young people after the tragic and violent shooting murders in Parkland provides Inspiration to this correspondent.

A bit more than a year ago, I shared the playlist of that name pulled together in my first semester at Hofstra.

Perhaps injecting youthful energy and determination into our discourse gives rise to a new paradigm.

In their efforts I see the definition of inspiration!

I certainly encourage it and applaud the young activists.

Please join me in this.

(Interestingly and those algorithms remain elusive, I found an inspiring and favorite song among the suggestions when I clicked the video mentioned at the outset of this blog.)

Corey of course it would be Poco.
Inspiration is everywhere. Kudos to the youth for always creating change.

But I'd not expect that song suggested with a Traffic set. It scares me to think Google nows....
AND I am not sure I otherwise have that YouTube clip and it was perhaps best live version of AGFTK and I have seen it live so many times and viewed and heard audio and video of it.

“Music hath charms to soothe a savage breast, to soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak.” Wise words from William Congreve, early British playwright.
He also wrote, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."[
So watch it, fellas!

Yesterday was a crazy day and I didn’t get to read your blog or listen to the playlist which unfortunately I still haven’t had time to do so. However one thing is for certain if people sit back and believe things will just get better or perhaps not worse they won’t and they will —so I echo the kudos to the youth who are echoing something heard before “never again“ and more importantly trying to ensure that phrase becomes reality.
