Concise Bloggers?

Categories
Lifestyle

I have noticed an interesting phenomena; since we have switched to the new web site our blogs, mine included, have gotten noticeably shorter. Do you think it has something to do with the new format or have we learned to say what’s on our minds a lot more efficiently?

I've noticed the number of people posting comments are also fewer. Perhaps some people haven't gotten used to looking for blogs on the new site?

Today's blog = 2 tweets. Concise often works cut the key remains sharing something to say and making it meaningful enough to makes us come back, as opposed to comment so the act of commenting attracts someone's notice. What I look for: something thought-provoking, perhaps useful. perhaps inspiring. Certainly in a video age overtaken by the Internet and shorter attention spans, brevity works. I prefer concise writing , even if longer, that draws one in (I opted -- intentionally --not to use a phrase that others, including an often popular Gotham blogger, prefer to use.)
After I posted my comment, I realized my comment ran MUCH longer than today's blog.......

Not sure - when I guest blog, they're still long, but that may just say more about me. ;)
