Twilight Zone
Do you remember Rod Serling? He was the creator of the amazing off the wall, but sometimes true to life, "Twilight Zone".
Twilight Zone was a strange mix of horror, science fiction, drama, comedy and superstition with many black and white episodes concluding with a surprise ending.
Well, many years have passed since Serling introduced an episode and yet I feel we have reentered the Twilight Zone.
Back in the Day there was no Tweeting. There were carrier Pigeons and then Western Union telegrams. People had time before they shot off an ill advised or self destructive message.
Today everyone has a device in hand and even I use Twitter (I have a meager 135 followers) and admittedly the instant gratification of broadcasting, connecting and garnering a response is addictive, but the President of the United States, who has 34 millions Twitter followers and can bypass any moderating or filtering mechanism, is damaging his office and our Nation's world wide reputation.
Even my vehement friends across the aisle are speechless at best over his recent Mika face lift fest. Cue the Twilight Zone theme music.
The Donald needs to give us a surprise ending and stop playing on Twitter and exit the Twilight Zone!

I am definitely not in the Twilight Zone, I think that avoids being in reality. The reality for me is that more people have raised their consciousness and having taken more actions than in many many years, and for that I have hope and am grateful.
We all created this and we can all make it better.
There is so much good happening in the world that we never hear about.

Everyone who knows me, knows my political views and my thoughts about our current president. Although, having read the blog, the thought of being able to correspond directly with someone I would normally have no access to sounds inviting.
