I am involved with two separate groups, each of which buy weekly lottery tickets (thank you Rosalia and Mitch) and, to date, neither group has won, but winning doesn't seem to be the true benefit.  

 

The fellowship of being part of a group, with a positive common goal, is the true benefit, as we make believe (dream) we are going to win and talk and think as to what we would do with our sudden riches.

 

It's a lot of fun :)
