"The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear."
--Nelson Mandela

Is it really conquering fear that is brave? I believe we all experience fear. Fear has helped humans survive through the years. So being afraid is important. However, if fear drives you or prevents you from living life, then let's be brave.

In my humble opinion, people are in a lot of fear and trying to cope with it. Some are not having much success. I recently experienced, in a coffee shop, a man who started yelling at the top of his lungs because they ran out of oat milk. This reminds me of what a great character said:

"Fear is the path to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering."
--Yoda

Let's not suffer....learn from an old nursery rhyme. You get what you get, and you don't get upset.

Fear creates great movies. After Jaws came out, I was done with trying to swim.

I am a fearful flyer but I am going soon on an 18 hour flight to Singapore. Having the experience of going to southeast Asia is more important to me than playing into my fears. Although the past week has given me a lot of anxiety.
