A Lesson in London

It’s nice to receive reinforcing confirmation.
I was speaking to a colleague who works for a multinational not for profit headquartered in London. She was in London and not sure exactly what she was going there.
On prior trips from the U.S., she always had a specific project or event in London. This trip was filled with various meetings with her overseas contacts, but nothing specific.
So, as she was moving from meeting to meeting, she realized that there was great opportunity to really “meet” her colleagues- and get to know them-and afford them the same opportunity to get to know her.
As we talked, I told her that it was “all about relationships”.
Sounds familiar? And we all know that it works.

We all want to be around people we like and know well. Same applies to professional work environments!
