A Perfect Moment

It happened on Saturday. We were on our friend’s boat watching The Blue Angel’s airshow. The sky was clear blue and the weather on the water was incredible. There was the subtlest breeze so it wasn’t too hot or too cold.


And the airshow was astounding. Surrounded by family and friends I couldn’t help but look around and think, “What a perfect moment. I am so lucky to be here.”

Thank you for this reminder Rona. Beautiful. They happen so often. . . . and sometimes they are perfect simply because I actually pause to notice them. Watching our children each work and succeed, meeting my husband's eyes over morning coffee as we sit outside or take a walk down to the pond before dinner, stroking my cat when her fur is warm and smooth from the sun, seeing one of my clients or a student in my class have an "aha" moment when it all clicks, washing the last dish when the kitchen is clean. . . . Thank you for letting me notice them again. Xo
