I'll start off waving the flag in gratitude to Maria Guida, who posted on Fredslist a request on behalf of a client for anyone who gives seminars on Time and Stress Management. I wrote back to Maria, whom I had never met, introducing myself and telling her that I give such seminars. Her client was the accounting firm, Berdon. Thanks to Maria and Fredslist, I ended up delivering 18 hours of seminars to Berdon in 2013. The gig at Berdon paved the way for conversations with Steve Marcus, an introduction from Ben Geizhals at the Golf Outing that year, which resulted in my delivering two years of soft skills trainings (so far) at Gettry Marcus CPA.

My story isn't too specific, but I've met and befriended some great, inspiring people, learned a lot about myself-not always pleasant , but reality is always welcome and been part of some terrific events. Not bad for 9 years.

As a member of the Friars Club I can feedback about the amazing synergy between Gotham and the Club. A perfect example is the incredible membership opportunity available to Gotham members.

I meet a person who connects French business with American business. She has an incredibly vast network of people she can call on at any time. However she had a connection problem she could not solve for weeks. I told her about Gotham and said I would see what I can do. I put out the request and in ½ hour had about 5 solid possibilities. She was floored and now might join.

I really appreciate the opportunity Gotham presents to help some folks, connect others to some opportunities that prove fruitful, and meet clients and work on mutual projects.

Fredslist is nothing short of a miracle. It has found solutions to seemingly unsolvable issues, and just as importantly, it showcases the compassion and selflessness evident in so many Gotham members.
