No beef for me. But Nanc, do you remember the huge, warm chocolate chip muffins we used to get in Brooklyn Heights? I'll meet you for one of those. . .

I can do McDonald's but no more than once a month max. Comfort food for me would be homemade Toll House cookies (as my mom used to bake them weekly). My wife now leaves out the chocolate chips as the kids (go figure) like it better that way and it makes for a less sweet treat. Next up, cheese dusted popcorn. I can eat that any time of the day.

Comfort food to me is Cuban food...black beans, rice, picadillo and plantains. YUM!

Now that McD's does bkft 24 hours more likely to get food there. I do prefer their shakes to the popular Shake Shack variety.

I'm with Fred. McDonalds' "food" isn't something I've put down my gullet in many, many years. And a hat-tip to Liz on Cuban food... we grew up in the same little town on the Hudson (Tarrytown), and that's where I learned about the guilty pleasure of "ropa vieja"-- shredded skirt steak with a sauce to die for. It means "old clothes", ie: comfort food.
