The Fish

Here was my text conversation with my son Joshua the other day:

Me:  What time do you leave work?

Josh: 5.  Why?

Me: Thought we could get a beer.

Josh: I have to bring my fish to the chiropractor.

Me: You're kidding.

Josh: No. For real.

Me:  What are you talking about?

Josh: I'll explain later.  What time can you meet?

Me: That cannot possibly be explained.

Josh: It is a logical explanation.

We planned to meet. The rest of the afternoon I wondered what would a fish be doing with a chiropractor?  Does he stick his hands in the fish bowl?  Or does the fish come out?

It was a mystery, until I met Josh after work and he explained.  And quite logical it was.

When Jaclyn was about 6 I went to pick her up at a play date. She and her friend were up in her friend's room and Jaclyn was petting her fish. Hand in the bowl and all. So what did you learn from Josh?? What was the logical explanation?

When I think of fish I think of a football team that my brother likes and this morning my team beat them in London though the the offensive coordinator seems to get afflicted with Ben McAdoo-itis in the 4th Quarter.

Nice looking Leopard Plecko fish that has been growing steadily over the past four years to the point where he can no longer live comfortably in my home tank + my wife's visit to the chiropractor where she noticed their very large and well maintained tank + a call to said chiropractor to inquire on whether they adopt good looking fish = an appointment to take my fish to the chiropractor!
