Unintended Texting

I asked my daughter this afternoon what time she had to “be in laden”.

My husband asked me later, “Am I bringing you pizza?” Hint: Although I really like pizza, I was at work and he was heading to pick up my son.

I asked my sister “What’s new?” and she said “Nothv”.

And of course, I can never ever text “Oy” because it invariably ends up “It”.

I am a big fan of texting. It is a very efficient means of staying in touch. But autocorrect is just “amyzybanb.”

It's so funny you mention the auto-correct on Oy. I never realized how much I use the word until I started texting and dealing with auto-correct.

My most annoying autocorrect, is that my phone somehow often changes the word "thinking" to "honking". While it technically doesn't mean anything bad, and I am usually pretty obsessive about double-checking everything I write/post for grammar and punctuation, the couple times it has come through have been a little awkward. :)

I have learned to look carefully before I click send. Sometimes it still beats me but I try.

I do not like texting because I have fat fingers.
