2015

I have a date stamp on my desk in the office. The old- fashioned kind. You change the date, month and year with plastic wheels. Changing the date is part of my morning ritual. I’ve had such a stamp on my desk for many years. I use it to stamp mail. I don't use it as much now as I used to.

Yesterday morning I checked to make sure that the stamp has 2015 on it. I look forward to changing the year when I get back to the office after the holiday. After all, I only get to do that once a year.

I am not one for New Year’s resolutions, although as I reflect on the year past and the year to come, there are old routines that I would like to change and new ones that I would like to start.

My date stamp is one routine that is just fine.

Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2015!

2015 makes Gotham 18 years old and that's a good number!

2015 is going to be a great year! By the way, 2015 is the year Marty McFly time travelled to in the movie Back to the Future. Keep an eye out for DeLoreans!

18 is my fave #! The hebrew letters used to make 18 spell "life" and is viewed as lucky. 2015 represents some changes involving my family that shelly and I look forward to; perhaps including a new chapter or two or three. Some good friends look to enter new roles (not all necessarily professional ones) and I suspect some of what occurs with them may "drag" me along.
In summary, every year involves recurring routines, involvements and engagements, and new ones too. It all makes life so interesting.

This Chinese Lunar New Year will be governed by the number Eight. According to numerologists, this portends good luck, good fortune and prosperity. May it be so.
Happy New Year to all!

Life is interesting, that is why
yesterday is history and every
day is its new beginning.

Gotham, younger than the Internet but older than Oscar nominated Hailee Steinfeld.
Sounds about right.
2015 is going to be a great one.
Date stamp and all.
