The Facebook Memory Feature

I have to admit that I enjoy the memories that show up in my feed every morning.  The photo stroll in most instances is a happy trip down some memory lane, near or far.

Most recently, the stroll was from my son’s last performance with his college Acappella group two years ago, just before college graduation.  What a night.

The seniors all had spotlights and as parents, we went from the emotions around, “Wow, that kid can really sing!” to pride when the junior classmate doing Eric’s sendoff, did so with a theme about how kind he had been to her throughout the years.

So tonight, I must have listened to the recording of that night about a dozen times.

Thank you, Facebook. Well done.

The memories are great. It brings you right back to a moment you may have forgotten about.

I was just talking about that yesterday. Facebook sent me a picture of my brother, sister and I. I was happy to see it but it also made me cry.
