O.J.

The news this week about O.J. Simpson’s parole hearing immediately brought me back to his murder trial. I was in a completely different place-than I am now- during that trial. I was a stay at home mom at that time and my youngest daughter was still an infant. My older daughter was in nursery school.

I remember being fascinated by the trial and its media coverage. I tried to sneak as much time in to watch the trial as I could between naps and nursery school. For me, for some reason, it truly was the trial of the century.

I readily admit that I was captivated by that trial. Were you?  And where were you in your life during those six months?

It couldn't be avoided on the news. You were forced to be involved. The white Bronco ride seemed to stick in my mind too.

Much more compassionate toward all the key figures now, than I was then. Loved the recent TV adaptation.

I remember like it was yesterday. And like Cayce, I enjoyed the recent TV series.

Everyone kept asking my husband Alan, as a criminal defense attorney, to comment and Alan said "if the glove don't fit you must acquit"
