My Summer Equation
I had one of those work weeks last week wherein you just long for the weekend. After five years of litigation, and five full trial dates, I finally settled the custody portion of a divorce case. (The support and equitable distribution portions of the case are scheduled for trial in September so that will be blog fodder for another day). After that, the weekend couldn’t come fast enough.
Happily, my weekend was filled with friends and family. Saturday night we hosted my step daughter’s graduation party from graduate school. On Sunday some family and friends spent the day at our pool and we hosted a bar-b-que. It was the perfect weekend antidote to a tough work week.
Family + friends + food = fun. That’s my summer weekend equation. What’s yours?

It's not just the weekends but the eves too.
Obviously squeezing in some great concerts and ball games like Gotham has on Aug 17 (and I have with the "Knights" on Aug 16).
We did a Shakespeare by the sea in Jupiter.
We look forward to a cruise the Queens Chamber hosts this week.
I may blog about another annual summer weekend event next week or shortly thereafter.
And when I am free still like time at the pool club.
