Blinker anyone?

Categories

Ever been driving behind a car on a one lane road only to find they stop for seemingly no reason at all? Then, much to your suprise, they make a left hand turn. No blinker, hand signal or even a smoke signal.

This non-blinker using driver is most likely thinking (or not thinking) "I know where I'm going, I don't need to use a blinker." What they are failing to grasp is that the blinker is not for them - it's for everyone else!

This lack of consideration is definitely one of my driving pet peeves. Let's make America great again...please use your blinker.

In certain situations use of blinkers signal to other "offenders" to speed up and block your move.

Let's make the World great as the French say! Some would say it is on the blink...

I have noticed that a lot recently also. When that happens I yell and scream at them in my car. They don't hear me obviously, but I feel so much better after my rant.

My favorite is when people are traveling at a high speed on the highway and think that simply turning on their blinker magically creates space for them to abruptly merge into your lane. Apparently their blinker has magic powers and will safely transport them into your lane. Clearly side mirrors and patients are outdated. Especially enjoyable when they merge in and then jam on the brakes in front of you because there was no room for them in the first place.

I also find myself doing a lot more "venting" in my car. I truly believe that is why my blood pressure in always low.
