Not Good Patient Behavior

Categories
Lifestyle

I always thought of myself as a good patient. I rarely, if ever, take a sick day from work. In fact, I do not recall the last time I did. I push myself to get whatever I need to get finished, no matter how I feel.

Sunday, I woke up with an apparent stomach virus. I stayed in my room most of the day in my pajamas, alternating between complaining, sleeping, and whining about how bad I felt. Clearly, not good patient behavior.

Are you a good patient?

Sorry you are not feeling well. Complaining hastens healing.

First, I agree with Fred. Hope you are feeling better.
Second, go easy on your stomach for 24 hours, then toast, tea, rice bananas and you should be fine.
Complaining and whining within reason can be a healthy thing. Anyone around you will understand that this is the bad times when they need to be there.
I speak from recent very painful experience.

I just want to be left alone in my bed with the occasional "poor baby". Lol. Rest and recoup. Xxoo

It's been years since I've been sick. The last time I can remember having something that required me to stay in bed was 2002. I remember consultants from work bothering me on the phone a lot. Anyway, as I recall, I pretty much took care of myself. Like Victoria, leaving me alone with the occasional "poor baby" is pretty much all I need.
