Lazy Sunday

Categories
Lifestyle

On Sunday morning, my family woke up early to go to  The Jets game. I was not going with them. Yet, I still planned to get up with them. My plan was to exercise, do some fall cleaning (switch out my sandals for my boots) and do some cooking for the week. I had a full morning scheduled.

Instead, I spent the morning in bed finishing up the book I started reading on vacation and drinking coffee I brewed on my French press.  And it felt good to have a lazy Sunday morning.

Do you enjoy lazy Sunday mornings?

The first thing that came to mind was a Spanky and Our Gang song:

When it's nastier weather I am more likely to make it a lazy Sunday. I nice weather I want to be outside on the deck....

I switched my closets and brought in outdoor furniture.

I loved hearing the Spanky and Our Gang song again - brought me back to my college days. And lazy Sunday's are the best. Last weekend was spent with my brother and his three grandchildren, twins aged 7 and a 4 year old. It was wonderful but exhausting. This weekend we basically accomplished finishing season 2 of Transparent and starting season 3, and some shopping. Quite active in my opinion!

Got to have those breaks and I applaud your willingness to let all the plans go and take care of yourself.
