Neighbors

Two stories of hope in the news and they both center on community.

It takes a village.

In Tenino, WA a family went on vacation and while they were away their home and truck were vandalized with racial slurs and spray paint. The neighbors cleaned everything up before they got back so that their small children wouldn't see it. The full story and video is HERE.

In Natick, MA similar story. Family went on vacation, while they were gone their rainbow peace flag, put up after the Orlando tradgedy, was stolen and their house egged. Neighbors did something really profound.

More HERE.

Thanks for sharing! There is nothing like good neighbors. In 2011 after Tropical Storm Irene when a enormous tree destroyed 1/2 of our home our neighbors came to the rescue. The neighborhood did not have power for a week, but they fed us and made sure that we had everything we needed to get back on our feet!

At the end of a long day I opened these stories and smiled. Thank you so much for sharing.
