What Me Worry?

Categories
Health

We were recently winding down our Memorial Day Weekend vacation and starting to experience that all too familiar gnawing feeling of return to the real world anxieties and problems.

Just then I spied the words "Harkuna Matata" written under a wooden bridge covering a pool lap lane.

I looked up the meaning of those words and what a perfectly timed antidote to our gnawing feelings: "No Worries"!

Harkuna Matata!

I find I worry too much about what is essentially nonsense - keeping it all in perspective - Hakuna matata a good mantra :)

I misspelled. It is Hakuna Matata. Sorry

I guess you never saw the Lion King?

Personally, I like to "worry". I don't make it a negative by dwelling on it, I just consider it constant planning ahead.
Tom Gallin

"You can't always get what you want, But if you try sometimes well you might find
You get what you need" Rolling Stones
Rona Gura

Now I have the song going through my head. "It's a problem free, philosophy. . . ."
Cayce Crown

As Dan Zadra says, Worry is the misuse of imagination.

On a side note, speaking of great imagination, the opening to Lion King on Broadway is one of the greatest moments in American Theatre, in case your Hamilton tickets don't work out. Then you can Hakuna Matata all over the place.

Ooh. Perspective . Worrying is a complete waste of time, energy and psyche. When I think of all the wasted and neurotic moments in my past spent with the complete waste of time called worry ! Coming up now on the 10 month anniversary of being hit by an 18 wheeler in Denver and my short meeting and short interview with the BIG MAN who enveloped me and said "Stop Worrying !"Well ..... Fast forward I stopped worrying. RIGHT THERE AND THEN. So a higher power got involved . But I go back to that short meeting, the comfort and the knowledge that came with it . Peace . PEACE !!! Look for it , find it and live by it !!
