An upstate Assemblyman from Putnam County, Steve Katz, was stopped for speeding (80mph in a 65mph zone...not bad) when the officer smelled that smell. He found a bag of marijuana and Mr. Katz was ticketed for possesion.

The funny part is that he was one of 50 Assembly members who voted against legalizing medical marijuana last June. That bill did not pass the Senate but it does make an interesting point. What goes around certainly does come around :)

Maybe he should join Gotham?
