My blog today is a simple one, are you or are you not a sushi person? It has been my experience that most people either love it or hate it.
It was suggested midweek that this blog cover something that becomes official tomorrow but it makes sense to share that in a subsequent commentary. I prefer to share something that never occurred with me and a baseball game. Last Tuesday, we stayed for the entire game despite the home team – my beloved team – not likely at all to rally to victory.
I'm confused. Do I wear a mask or not?   Friday night I attended what was, I believe, the first Gotham meeting in a very long time. I walked in with a mask on but out of the 35 or so people attending, i was one of three who wore one.   It was outdoors, but personally, I was a bit nervous. I am vaccinated but still carry some fear with me whereever I go. So I wore the mask for most of the time. When I ate I took it off and kept it off till I left.
When I first learned that my fanfav Aaron Judge and 9 other Yankee teammates would be sidelined for 10 days for testing positive for Covid I was crestfallen. Seriously dim viewed! But, as usual, my time tested adage “Up is down and down is up” proved true as the Yankees dipped into their minor league system for replacements and some, if not all, saw that opportunity knocks and seized on their chance and knocked it out of the park! I am so pleased with these younger, faster and more eager pinstripers that I’m excited in a new/old way.
My four year old grandson and I were sitting in the backyard last Saturday watching the birds and thoroughly enjoying the beautiful weather.
I was excited to get an invitation from the Gotham Tribal Council to take on the Wednesday Blog Spot in the Gotham weekly lineup.  Filling the site that was so passionately helmed by the inspiring Carly Meyer will be a challenge that I look forward to embrace.   As some of you may know, I have an avid interest in Movies, Music, Museums, Theater, Books, and Television. I look forward to taking the role of the Culture Vulture.  I will be on the prowl for the latest cultural event or activity that may pique your interest.
Admittedly, I don’t have the greatest sense of direction – but DC has me completely turned around.
Do you post reviews on the internet or social media? Several years ago I wrote a series of blogs about how it felt to be the victim of a vicious, and fraudulent, internet attack. Since that time, I have learned how to properly protect my online reputation and how important it is to do so.
