The Watch and the Bulletin Board

Our grandson’s Apple Watch went missing over the weekend. His family was visiting us for the holidays and we learned of the missing watch on Sunday morning.
With guidance from the tracking feature, our search was carefully directed —- to no avail.
Flo posted the loss on our condo’s community bulletin board with our phone numbers in case of discovery.
As time went on, tracking indicated that the watch had moved about a block away. We searched in the dark. We searched in the rain.
And we speculated. Some were convinced the watch had been stolen.
And then, on Monday evening, we got a call. A neighbor had found the watch! More surprising was that she had read the posting on the bulletin board and remembered.
With newly-restored faith in our neighbors…and humanity, we picked up the watch.
By the way, the community bulletin board, like Fredslist, delivers.

Good that you used what you could to post and it worked. It just shows, you never know.

Sad so often we fear "it" was stolen. Ben's story is a reaffirmation in the good nature of people.
