Book Recommendations

I need reading recommendations.  I, hopefully, will soon be taking a much needed vacation which involves a very long airline flight.  As anyone reading this blog knows, I am a fearful flyer. Therefore, I always try to keep myself distracted during the flight.

I love to read and find, lately, I don’t have enough time.  So I am looking for some books to distract myself with during the flight. Essentially, a book that I can just lose myself in for several hours

I am looking for some easy reading. I mostly enjoy fiction, as well as science fiction.

What have you got for me Gotham? Any great novels you can recommend for me?

Not a reader much anymore. I do like to get immersed in a good movie though. One perk with flying Jet Blue, on most flights, you have a very wide selection of movies, including recently released in theater new ones as well as many classics. I just watched on my return flight form NY, Elvis. It was a long movie but with all the delays, I got to finish it. Best way to kill time when flying in my opinion.

I have heard great things about the novel, Lincoln HIghway by Amor Towles. Lots of best of lists. Enjoy your vacation!

Been reading music bios. Enjoyed recent offerings by Felix Cavaliere, Chris Hillman, John Fogerty and Peter Frampton
