Most of you are my friends on Facebook. If you’re not, I invite you to friend me.

Facebook is my social media of choice. I feel comfortable using it. I check it a few times a day and post often.

 

I have accounts on Instagram and Snap Chat. I generally use those accounts to monitor my kids, follow certain lifestyle or cooking accounts, or some celebrity accounts. But I rarely, if ever, post on Instagram or Snap Chat. My kids tell me that people "my age" do not use Instagram or Snap Chat and should stay on Facebook

What is your social media of choice? And should I start following you?

I am Friends with you already and do enjoy Facebook on occasion. I just am not a big fan of seeing people posting every few hours. You know who you are out there...

All who know me know I don't "Do" facebook. Although I know its important for many reasons I remain cautious, however years ago I did set up an account (which remains as do my other social media accounts incomplete). Although I don't check facebook interestingly I periodically get what I call "Pop Ups" from Facebook with a recent post from someone I have connected with, and when I do I reply if appropriate. On my bucket list to actually the complete necessary information on my accounts.

I like Facebook, and my kids told me that it has now become the social media for “old people” like me. (This could actually be true, because my mother is an avid Facebook fan, and my father has an account also. Although he won’t use his real name because he doesn’t want anyone to know who he is.....hmmmmmm. Lol) I like Instagram, too, but I don’t like Snapchat because it disappears. And I am a hoarder and cataloguer of experiences and pictures. :))

Hey Rona...Will happily friend you next time I see your friendly persona on FB. FB helps me stay in touch with people from childhood, high school, college, GOTHAM, family & friends. Hard to think of life w/o it as I slouch into the sunset.
