[Promo] Can Travel Help Your Love Life?

What are you doing for your love this Valentines' Day?  A gift of travel is
a great surprise.  A few years ago I did a stint working at JFK at Delta's
check-in counter.  I met a lot of memorable characters, but one that really
made an impression was a man who came to my counter with both his wife's
passport and his own. He asked if I could check them both in without
actually talking to his wife (she was waiting a few yards away where I
could see her).  The reason?  This was a surprise trip and she had no idea
where they were going.  He bought the tickets and the land package and just
told her what season to pack for.  I don't remember where they were headed,
but it was so romantic and fun to see her excitement.

Have I given you any ideas?  I have lots more where that came from!

weekend for Valentine’s Day is something you will remember and treasure
forever. There’s a lasting fulfillment,” - a recent quote from a travel
agent on the subject of love and travel.

In a recently released Travelocity survey, 52% of women said they would
want to contact "someone who is less attractive but likes to travel.”  And
47% of women considered those who don't love to travel as someone "they
would never date," and 40% of men felt the same way.
“I know it’s one of the things that I look for in a prospective date. I
look for someone who likes to travel. I ask them, ‘Do you have a passport?’
If they say no, that takes them off the list automatically.”
