 JUST WHEN WE THOUGHT SMOKING WAS NO LONGER A WARNINGS ISSUE, NEW FORMS OF SMOKING CAN BE DEADLY!
The decades-long national campaign to inform consumers of the serious health risks associated with smoking cigarettes has met with significant success in reducing cigarette use among some demographic populations in Americans.  However, it has also led to the rise of alternative forms of smoking.  Enter the E-Cigarette and the hookah parlor.  Make that the exploding e-cigarette. (See prior issues of this Newsletter from both Dec., 2013 and April, 2014) about other health risks associated with e-cigarettes and the FDA's plan both to ban minors from smoking e-cigarettes and to place serious warnings on the e-cigarette packaging.)  It's just amazing how many different weird things are capable of exploding these days!
