General Purpose:  An analyst will be working primarily on research projects and data entry with Microsoft Excel.  Some experience with excel is needed and prior finance background.  The analyst will be given a research topic/ guidelines to a project and will be expected to work independently with information given. Assignments may include litigation/dispute matters for which damages are determined, forensic accounting, fraud investigations, and intellectual property valuation projects.  Most projects will typically result in the performance of research supporting such projects and data entry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  *   Understanding of financial documents used in day-to-day business operations and transactions
  *   Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  *   Ability to develop and critique alternative arguments/opinions
  *   Ability to conduct thorough research
  *   Excellent team player
  *   Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  *   Ability to work with changing deadlines
  *   Strong organizational skills

Education and/or Training:

  *   4 year undergraduate degree with a concentration in accounting, finance, and/or economics

·         Prior experience in finance
