Hello Gotham family! I wanted to add Oscar is working off the Magnacare network. The network does continue to grow, however, it is important to know that this is leased network in many locations.

In addition, the other carriers such as Oxford and Empire have different networks within the NY Exchange which are significantly smaller than their Off Exchange Networks. So you need to check the provider listing carefully.

These are insurances within the NY Exchange with decent number of doctor networks. Oscar is a new kind of insurance and do a lot of things online.  Very interesting concept.
However, they are both HMO plans and offer no out of network benefits.

   Does anyone know the companies Oscar or Health Republic?  I was referred to them today by broker I've used for years so checking them out, but if someone has info or personal experience I'd be interested.
