I am on the Board of New York Women in Film & Television.  

I wish to invite all Gothamites to join us on Tuesday night, May 25th, at Macy's for Designing Women, one of NYWIFT's premiere events.  Designing Women honors the unsung people who make movie and tv actors and directors look terrific:  the hair, make up and costume designers.  CHRISTINE BARANSKI, JODIE FOSTER, CYNTHIA NIXON and PHYLICIA RASHAD will be presenting the awards to this year's honorees:

Hair Stylist
Suzy Mazzarese-Allison (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Ugly Betty, 
The Good Wife),
award presented by Christine Baranski,

Make-up Artist
Marjorie Durand (Just Wright, Sex and the City: The Movie, Cadillac 
Records),
award presented by Phylicia Rashad,

Costume Designer
Susan Lyall (The Beaver, Rachel Getting Married, Music and Lyrics),
award presented by Jodie Foster,

The Variety Ensemble Award will be presented to the costume, hair and 
make-up design team of SEX AND THE CITY 2. 

The presentation to the honorees, complimented by video clips of their designs, will be followed by a gala reception where Iron Chef Cat Cora, Macy's Culinary Council Chef, will oversee the preparation of her special Designing Women menu of hors d'oeuvres. The festivities will begin at 7 pm sharp; doors open at 6:30 p.m.
