Candidates must have managed an A/P Dept of 12-18 people.
Candidates must be out of a professional services firm or Adv/Communications/PR Firm

AP Manager

Responsibilities


*         Create monthly AP calendar for daily workflow

*         Guide company-wide awareness and help implement stronger PO policy

*         Manage all payable processes and ensure proper entry of all payables

*         Administer wire payments folder and scheduling of payments

*         Guide 1099 process and reconciliation process

*         Monthly AP aging review and commentary

*         Reaffirm SOX compliance and proper segregation of duties within AP dept

*         Reconciliation and correspondence with problem/high-maintenance vendors

*         Overall management of agency media payable process

*         Help with transition to Concur system during 2010

*         Assist with client compliance reporting, intercompany recs and confirmations



Skills/Requirements

*         Minimum 3 to 4 years experience in managing AP processes

*         Advertising industry experience a plus

*         Experience managing large groups (more than 4 or more people)

*         Knowledge of Donovan Data Systems or similar G/L package

*         Degree in accounting or finance preferred but not required.
