Dear Gothamites

 

Norman Spizz, member of Bandit Too and the Long Island Group, sent me a
wonderful piece about a charity he is passionate about which I never
received and therefore never made it into the Gazette.

 

So to support Norman, the wonderful work he does for us, for the Friars, and
for Winthrop, below is the highlight of his charity. It will be considered
as part of the Summer of Gotham Giving.

The Cancer Center for Kids (CCFK) at Winthrop-University Hospital in
Mineola, New York, is Long Island's largest outpatient center for treating
children with cancer and blood disorders.  A member of the Children's

protocols and is squarely at the forefront of research and treatment. Our
